Where can I buy Topclamp?

You can request a quote via our Topclamp website, after which our colleagues will assist you by providing a technical drawing of your idea and help you choose the right Topclamp products.

Topclamp couplings and tubes are available in stock at the Metaalwinkel in Rotterdam, Utrecht, and Amsterdam. You can view the couplings and tubes at these branches and take them with you directly if desired.
 

Can individuals also order from Topclamp?

Certainly, you are also welcome at one of our Metal Store branches in Rotterdam, Utrecht, or Amsterdam where Topclamp is available.
 

Does Topclamp accept any type of construction drawings?

Do you have a construction drawing for us? We accept any type of construction drawing. Please provide your drawing with dimensions so that our engineers can read it correctly.
 

In what sizes are the Topclamp products available?

Topclamp Original:

*   The couplings are available in 3 tube sizes: 29.8 mm, 38.4 mm, and 47.1 mm.
*   The wall thickness of the 38.4 mm and 47.1 mm couplings is 4 mm.
*   The wall thickness of the 29.8 mm couplings is 3mm.

Topclamp Original is also available in larger sizes. Contact one of our employees for more information.

Topclamp Wood:

*   The couplings are available in tube sizes: 60 mm, 70 mm, 80 mm, and 100 mm.
*   The wall thickness of the 80 mm and 100 mm garden post couplings is 5 mm.
*   The wall thickness of the 60 mm and 70 mm garden post couplings is 4 mm.
 

What material are the Topclamp couplings made of?

The Topclamp Couplings and profiles are made of aluminum 6063T66.

Aluminum 6063T66 is a relatively light, but strong material. The material is weather resistant and can be welded well.
 

How do I calculate the tube lengths?

For a "continuous" construction, subtract the relevant coupling size from the total length. For a "staggered" construction, consider that part of the tube will disappear into the coupling. An example is given below:

For a 29.8 mm coupling = 18 mm
For a 38.4 mm coupling = 25 mm
For a 47.1 mm coupling = 35 mm
 

At what lengths will the tubes sag?

Below is an overview of the sag weight of the aluminum tubes. The longer the construction, the faster the tubes will sag. Thin-walled tubes sag less quickly because the weight of the tube is lower.
 

How does the ordering process work?

Our employees will get to work based on the quote request. After your approval of the technical drawing and the quote, we will send the invoice that you can pay. Then the production process starts.
 

What do I need to know before requesting a Topclamp order?

When requesting a Topclamp order, it is important to know whether you want the aluminum tubes placed in or against the coupling. If placed against the coupling, you will need the Topclamp connector in addition to the tubes and couplings for the construction.

You can choose to take extra long tubes or order custom-made tubes. For custom-made tubes, we charge an additional €1 per cut.

Within what time frame can I expect a quote?

We strive to create and send a quote within 1 business day, but this depends on the complexity of the assignment.
 

What is the average lead time for a quote?

The lead time depends on the size of the order. The times below are indications and not binding. If you need a single piece of the product, this can be realized within a few working days. Rush orders are possible, please contact one of our employees directly at 010 – 292 97 61.

For uncoated products: approx. 5 working days.
For coated products: approx. 10 working days.
 

Do you offer discounts for large orders?

A custom quote will be prepared for you, and it is possible that the cost per piece may differ from the cost per piece on the website. Wondering if you can receive a discount? Contact one of our employees, and we will look into the possibilities.
 

What are the payment details of Topclamp?

You can transfer the total amount of the invoice to:

Rotterdam: NL94 RABO 0355310236 payable to Topclamp Rotterdam, stating the reference number.
 

Are the construction systems delivered with assembly materials?

Topclamp Original is delivered with assembly materials. Only the Topclamp Wood construction system is delivered without assembly materials (screws).
